No progress made in Karachi attack investigation: DIG South
KARACHI: Investigation is underway into the DHA suicide attack in which eight people including a mother and her son were killed, Geo News reported.
According to DIG South Shaukat, no progress has been made in the investigation and according to initial findings this was a suicide attack.
The meeting of the investigation team was held at the Darakshan police station and was chaired by DIG South. Other members of the investigation team include SSP SIU Omer Khitab, SSP South Naem Sheikh, SSP Clifton Tariq Dharejo and other investigation officials.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, DIG South said the investigation team would meet on a daily basis. After the meeting officials of the investigation team visited the site of the attack.
