Zero point at Pak-Iran border closed


CHAGHI: Trade gate between Pakistan and Iran have been closed on Thursday for indefinite period.

Due to the closure of the zero point, existed at the border of Pakistan and Iran lying in Taftan area of Balochistan province, thousands of local labourers have been rendered jobless, said the Levis official.

The official said that Iranian border officials have shut down the zero point, a trade gate between the two countries for an indefinite period.

Reacting to the Mastung incident, the transporters have also suspended the Quetta-Taftan transport service demanding security to the passengers and commuters.
