Controversy surrounds cause of Kalar Kahar bus crash
FAISALABAD: According to the initial investigation report of the Kalar Kahar bus crash, the accident was caused due to overloading and driver negligence, Geo News reported.
Speaking to Geo News DPO Syed Ali Mohsin said a case had been lodged at the Kalar Kahar police station and a team had departed for Faisalabad to investigate the owners of the bus and school.
However eye witnesses contradict the claim in the report and say that the accident was caused due to brake failure.
Meanwhile the city still mourns the lives lost in the tragic school bus accident. Life is limping back to normalcy as schools and business opened after they were shut on Tuesday following the accident. However the Milat School to which the students belonged remained closed.
34 including 29 students died in the tragic accident which took place on Monday.
