SC not meeting requirements of justice: Asma
LAHORE: Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir Monday said that the Supreme Court was not meeting the requirements of justice, Geo News reported.
Talking to media outside Lahore High Court here, she expressed reservations on the steps taken by the Supreme Court regarding Arsalan Iftikhar Case and added that the setting up of one-man Shoaib Suddle Commission tantamount to get the in-house investigation done.
Earlier also she had expressed her reservations regarding Arsalan Iftikhar case, but it remained unheard.
Asma Jhangir said that if there was no trust in the country’s institutions, then this matter should better be get investigated by the Scotland Yard.
