Balochistan case: CJ annoyed over AG's continued absence
QUETTA: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Tuesday, expressing his annoyance over continued absence of the Attorney General in the court, said that the court was left with no option but to call all the federal secretaries, Geo News reported.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is heading a three-member bench, which resumed its hearing of the Balochistan law and order case at the Quetta Registry here.
During the hearing, Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) chief Talal Bugti also appeared before the court, while the Attorney General remained absent over which the court expressed its annoyance.
The Chief Justice enquired from the home secretary if the son of Amirudin Agha was recovered to which the home secretary Nasibullah Bazai said that we made six raids till 3.00 A.M last night for this purpose and added, “As promised I will fulfill it”.
Later, the Chief Justice gave remarks “As you had assured of it, you should have done it---the security of the people is your responsibility.”
