Petition against Sharjeel Memon filed in SHC
KARACHI: A constitutional petition seeking disqualification of provincial Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon has been filed in Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday, Geo News reported.
The petitioner Rana Faizul Hassan was of the view that Sharjeel Memon passed statements against the judiciary and chanted insulting slogans during a session in Sindh Assembly on August 7, 2012 which is against the Article 68 of the Constitution.
Therefore, Sharjeel Memon should be disqualified from his Tharparkar seat following Article 63 (1) g, prayed the petitioner.
