PPP, MQM discuss legal clauses of LG Ordinance
KARACHI: PPP and MQM leaders' met here at Chief Minister house to resolve differences on legal clauses of Sindh Local Government (LG) Ordinance.
According to the sources, the differences on various legal clauses of LG Ordinance have been resolved during the meeting, which lasted for more than two hours.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad among various leaders of both PPP and MQM were present in thee meeting.
Meanwhile, provincial Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani said that the people of Sindh would soon hear good news regarding LG system.
The sources said that Local Government Ordinance is likely to be promulgated by Wednesday evening.
