UN delegation in Islamabad to evaluate missing persons issueISLAMABAD: A United Nations working group on enforced or involuntary disappearances has arrived in Pakistan to evaluate the missing persons issues.
The working group was invited to Pakistan on the invitation of the government and during its mission will gather information pertaining to missing persons cases.
The group will meet with government officials, families of the missing persons and will visit all four provinces of the country.
The working group will present its findings related to the missing persons issue to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR).
