Rain, flash floods kill 80 across Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: At least 80 people have died during the last three days in rain related incidents and flash floods across the country.
Monsoon rains began in the country last week and heavy showers continued on Monday in Sindh, Southern Punjab and Balochistan.
In Multan a brother and sister were killed due to electrocution, while three people were killed when the roof of their house collapsed.
In Shikarpur, two children were killed when the roof of a house collapsed. Four people were killed in another roof collapse in Kashmore.
Two separate rain related incidents claimed two lives in Jacobabad. In Sukkur a 13 year old was electrocuted, while in Khairpur five people were killed.
Nine people were killed due to flash floods in Dera ghazi Khan. Two people were killed when the roof of a house collapsed in Dera Muran Jamali.
Six people were killed at an Afghan refugee camp in Swabi.
