Fazl criticises govt decision-making process
PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Fazlur Rehman criticised the government for making popular decisions behind closed doors while sending unpopular decisions to parliament. He said this with reference to the passage of the new local government ordinance in Sindh. Speaking to the media on Sunday, Fazl said that the deteriorating law and order situation had led to a mass exodus from the tribal areas. He stressed that parliamentary resolutions should be implemented because innocent people were being killed and homes were being destroyed. When asked about the setting up of the interim government, Fazl criticised the two major political parties of the country and stressed that other parties should be consulted before a decision was made on it. inp
