‘Dual LG system’ enforced to divide Sindh: Nawaz

KARACHI: PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Shaif has said that a conspiracy is being hatched for the division of Sindh by enforcing ‘dual local government system’ in the province.

During a press conference here on Friday, Nawaz Sharif said that division of Sindh is not acceptable, adding that enforcement of the local government system in the province is the first step towards it.

He said that all decisions should be taken with consultations and Sindh government should leave the issue of LG system and must focus to help the flood affectees.

The PML-N president said that people are being killed on daily basis. He said he got information that Hind community is being forced to leave the country.

He urged Hindu, Sikh, Christian and Parsi communities not to leave country saying that his party will protect the rights of minorities.

Nawaz said that they want to make alliance with Pakistan Muslim League-Functional.

MQM was insisting to meet their leaders so he had directed Ishaq Dar to meet them and inquired about their agenda, the PML-N president added.
