Warsi welcomes EU trade package for Pakistan

LONDON: British Foreign Office Minister Baroness Saeeda Warsi has welcomed the vote in the European Parliament on a trade package for Pakistan.
“I welcome the result of the vote in the European Parliament to implement a trade package for Pakistan. The package will provide substantial benefits for Pakistan’s economy, bringing growth and jobs to people still recovering from the devastating 2010 floods,” Warsi said. “The UK has been a tireless advocate of improved EU market access for Pakistan, and has worked closely with the European Commission and international partners since 2010 to press for today’s decision.
