Federal govt was responsible for stopping protest: Rasheed
LAHORE: PML-N leader Senator Pervez Rasheed said it was the responsilbility of the federal government to stop the protest in Islamabad.
Rasheed was responding to an earlier statement by Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira who had said that the Punjab government was responsible for stopping protesters from Rawalpindi and Murree from entering Islamabad.
Protesters clashed with police in Islamabad on Thursday and the Army was summoned to stop them from entering the red zone and diplomatic enclave.
