Protest but don’t damage property, says Malik
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that protests should be held but property should not be damaged.
Speaking to the media after evaluating the security arrangements at the red zone, Malik said that the government had appealed to protesters that they would provide them a stage at D-Chowk in the federal capital.
Malik added that peaceful participants of rallies do not carry sticks, adding that the police would be provided additional support by the Rangers to thwart any untoward indicent.
The Interior Minister further said that weapons were seen in the possession of protesters in Islamabad on Thursday.
