US: Mansoor Shah murder mystery continues

DALLAS: There has been a twist in the case of prominent Pakistani American community leader, Mansoor Shah’s case, who was found dead in his car here in Dallas, Texas.

As per sources, until recently it was being suspected that Shah had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, but a second autopsy revealed there were two bullet wounds on instead on one.

It is mention-worthy that Shah was found dead in a mess of blood in his own car with a pistol in his hand.

Forensic experts, in the second postmortem, discovered another bullet wound in the jawbone apart form one in the head, which made it clear that it was not a case of suicide as shooting oneself twice above the neck that too fatally was next to impossible, sources said.

After these findings relatives refused to sign the official autopsy report handed to them forcing the local police to reopen the case.

Shah’s mobile phone record is being sifted through to nail clues to his apparent murder.

Private investigators have been hired by the family to get to the bottom of the mystery murder.

Shah’s family members and friends say that he had called his wife at around 2:30 AM the night before his murder telling her he was going to a local bank to deposit cash and would be back home soon after it. That was his last communication with his family.

Shah’s funeral prayer will be offered on Saturday (September 22) at Arlington’s Muslim cemetery where he will be laid to rest.

Shah has left a widow, two sons and two daughters behind him.
