International community disappoints Muslims: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Saturday said that the international community ‘badly disappointed’ millions of Muslims over anti-Islam film.

In a statement regarding protest over the film in Lahore, the chief minister said that federal government also failed to perform their role which was expected on the issue.

He said that insurgency and damaging property during the protest is condemnable, adding that no real follower of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) could behave like that.

During a meeting at Chief Minister house, it was told that Shahbaz Sharif would visit Turkey, Britain and Germany next week.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the agreement would be made with Turkey regarding Metro Bus project. He said that British companies would be informed about investment opportunities in Pakistan while German companies would be taken onboard for growing cooperation in various sectors including energy.

MPA Rab Nawaz Lak and Chairman Ulema Board (Punjab) Pir Syed Amin ul Hassnaat also met the chief minister and discussed political situation in the country and issues of Ulema board.
