Eunuchs enjoy equal rights : Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD : The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ruled that Eunuchs be given equal rights, Geo News reported.
A three member Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohd Chaudhry hearing the equal rights for Eunuchs case ruled that, Eunuchs are entitled to the same rights as those enjoyed by any other citizen, according to the Constitution of Pakistan.
The Supreme Court bench further stated, that Eunuchs be given equal rights of inheritance, as well as equal opportunities when it comes to education and jobs.
