Bukhari not to appear in Suddle Commission
ISLAMABAD: Malik Riaz’s counsel Zahid Bukhari Wednesday refused to appear before the Suddle Commission, according to a petition submitted by him to the Commission, Geo News reported.
Zahid Bukhari in his petition has taken the stance that Shoiab Suddle has personal relation with the family of Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and, as such, there was no hope of justice for his client.
The petitioner further said that Shoaib Suddle Commission’s enquiry would be biased and added that the enquiry should be withheld until the hearing of the review petition.
Talking to Geo News, Zahid Bukhari said that the investigation team constituted by the Commission was of low grade and tantamount to mocking with the law. He said that the Supreme Court hasn’t the authority to set up one-member Commission.
