Shujaat lauds Zardari’s UN address
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday lauded President Asif Ali Zardari for demanding world nations declare disrespect of the holy Prophet (PBUH) a heinous international crime. In a statement, Shujaat said the demand, which the president made during his address to the UN General Assembly, was the voice of every Muslim. “President Asif Zardari had not only represented Muslims of Pakistan but also the entire world,” the PML-Q leader said. He said that the international community should now meet this demand of Muslims, adding that that sensible people of other religions would also endorse and support the demand. staff report
