Sindh CM to supervise Karachi operation: Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said that Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah will supervise Karachi operation with full cooperation of federal security agencies.

Rashid said federal government had completed its maximum homework for establishing peace while indiscriminate action will be taken against miscreants in Karachi.

The information minister said the designed strategy will be implemented after approval of political parties during special Federal Cabinet meeting scheduled in Karachi on August 4. Rashid added that Sindh governer, chief minister, top officials of law enforcement agencies will also attend the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had taken notice of deteriorating law and order situation in the metropolis and ordered special meeting with all stakeholders along with federal cabinet members.

Moreover, Supreme Court of Pakistan also pronounced special orders to the authorities for taking control over worsening peace situation in Karachi. inp
