India agrees to provide Quaid’s speech recordingsISLAMABAD: India has agreed to hand over copies of two important speech recordings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to Pakistan. In an interview, All India Radio Director General Leeladhar Mandloi said the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has given a green signal for handing over the recordings to Pakistan.
The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation had requested for the recording of the founder of Pakistan’s famous August 11, 1947 address to Pakistan’s Constituent Assembly, which he delivered in Karachi. online
