Newly elected MPA from Hangu joins PTI
PESHAWAR: Newly elected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MPA from Hangu, Shah Faisal Khan, who had contested elections as an independent candidate, joined the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf on Monday.
He made the announcement in a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak. A 40-member delegation of the notables of Hangu also accompanied the MPA.
Shah Faisal is the brother of ex-MPA from Hangu, Farid Khan, who was killed in an incident of firing soon after being elected MPA is the last general elections.
Shah Faisal Khan said that he has joined the PTI to carry forward the mission of his late brother and to serve the down trodden segment of society.
He reposed full confidence in the leadership of Pervez Khattak and Imran Khan and assured the chief minister that he would extend full support to the provincial government in the implementation of its agenda.
On this occasion, members of the delegation apprised the chief minister of the problems and difficulties faced by the people of the area. app
