Aziz, Khurshid to meet on September 13
NEW DELHI: A meeting between Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s advisor on foreign policy and national security, Sartaj Aziz is expected to be held on September 13.
According to a report published in an Indian newspaper, the meeting will take place in Bishkek the capital of Kyrgyzstan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
The meeting was confirmed by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India, Salman Bashir who said that a deal to de-escalate tension along the Line of Control (LoC) was in the works.
