38 arrested during Rangers operation in KarachiKARACHI: At least 38 arrests were made as the Rangers continued their targeted operation in several areas of the city on Thursday.
Targeted operation was conducted in 13 areas of Karachi in which suspects involved in the Lyari gang-war, extortionists, members of religious parties and others were arrested.
In Lyari alone, 30 suspects involved in the gang-war and extortion were arrested while a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.
Entry and exit points in the Ramswami area of Garden were sealed and six members of a religious party were arrested during the targeted operation. The arrested suspects are involved in target killing and extortion.
