Faisal Sabzwari terms Nadeem Hashmi’s arrest a conspiracy
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has submitted a requisition for Sindh Assembly session.
Talking to media, MQM MPA Faisal Sabzwari condemned the arrest of former MPA Nadeem Hashmi and termed it a conspiracy against the party. He said that any political party or ethnic group should not be targeted in the operation.
Sabzwari said the party didn't protest despite raids in MQM dominated areas in which he said as many as 100 activists were held during the last six days.
Sabzwari said that the MQM had announced its support to the federal and Sindh governments for bringing peace in Karachi. He, however, said that the MPA was arrested in a fake case.
He asked as to why Taliban sanctuaries were not raided by security agencies.
