32 arrested during targeted operation in Karachi
KARACHI: At least 32 suspects were arrested as the Rangers and police continued to conduct targeted operation in several areas of the city on Friday.
Targeted operation was carried out in fourteen localities and suspects involved in gang-war, extortion and other criminal activities were arrested.
In Lyari, Rangers recovered a kidnapping victim while a suspect involved in the crime was arrested.
Five suspects were held and 36 arms of different calibers were recovered from their possession during a Rangers operation in the Pakhtoonabad area of Manghophir.
Rangers officials said that the raids were part of a plan to arrest members of ban outfits.
