Dar contacts Khurshid on appointment of NAB chief

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has telephoned Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah, who is in London, and discussed the issue of appointment of NAB chairman. According to reports, Dar told Khurshid that the matter was “very vital” and, therefore, the opposition leader should send two names in connection with NAB chief’s appointment “as soon as possible”. The minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was looking forward to the opposition leader nominations. The opposition leader assured Dar that he would send the required names after consultation with party leadership. online
