Pakistan will have to pull out of US war: ImranDERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday that Pakistan will have to get out of the US “war on terror” which has affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the most.
Imran Khan vowed to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa completely different from other provinces in the next six months. Addressing an election meeting on Sunday, the PTI chairman said that constant criticism against his party’s government was immature as it had been in power just for two and a half months for the first time in its history, while other parties had been around for decades. He challenged those who believe PTI could not bring change and said they should “wait and see”.
Reiterating his change-based agenda, Imran said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will introduce new laws and put an end to thana, kutchery and patwari culture which makes people run from pillar to post. He said they would eliminate this system of oppression and exploitation from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Without naming the JUI-F chief, Imran Khan said that those never tire of talking about enforcement of Islamic system were themselves passing their lives contrary to Islamic teachings. “There is a huge difference in the acts and deeds of those who are so-called champions of Islamic system and people have fully realised this,” the PTI chief declared.
He said the day is not far when there would be peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in the country as well. Imran said his party has adopted a strategy to bring change from the top and the government machinery would work according to the aspirations of the people. “We have come to change system; we will prove by changing it,” Imran said. He assured provision of clean drinking water in Dera Ismail Khan. He also announced to construct sports grounds in every tehsil of the province. inp
