Gen Wynne and Ashton Carter discuss regionRAWALPINDI: United States Defence Deputy Secretary Ashton Carter on Monday called on Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Chairman General Khalid Shameem Wynne on Monday. He remained with the CJCSC for some time and discussed with him matters of mutual interests with special emphasis on the geostrategic situation of the region, said an ISPR press release. During the meeting, Defence Deputy Assistant Secretary Dr Peter Lavoy, US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson and Office of Defence Representatives Pakistan Chief Lieutenant General Biscone were also present. app
