Shehla's 'partial ruling' becomes part of history: Nusrat

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) MPA in Sindh Assembly Nusrat Sehar Abbasi Friday claimed that legislation without taking opposition into confidence is an old demean of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Talking to media men outside Sindh Assembly, Nusrat Sehar said that the speaker of the assembly is always impartial, adding that the ‘biased ruling’ of Shehla Raza as speaker has become the part of the history.

The MPA said that the PPP always carry out legislation without consulting the opposition that's why, she said, the courts strike down the legislations.

She said that there was no such example found in the history that any female lawmaker was sent out of the house. She further said that passing seven bills within 20 minutes is a big question mark.

Meanwhile, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) deputy parliamentary leader in Sindh legislature Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan said that the PPP take advantage of the absence of opposition members in the assembly, adding that it has become the norm of PPP that they do unilateral legislation.
