MQM terms murder case against Nabil Gabol as conspiracy
ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) said Saturday that implicating its lawmaker Nabil Gabol in the murder case of Zafar Baloch was tantamount to save the real criminals.
Speaking at a press conference, MQM Deputy Convener, Khalid Maqbool Sidduqui said that Karachi police chief had already termed the killing of Baloch a result of internal rift among Lyari gangs.
He said that the MQM would support targeted operation in Karachi, adding that implicating Gabol in the fake case was a conspiracy to seek political vengeance and cast doubts over the ongoing operation in the city.
Siddiqui said that the MQM wanted to inform the prime minister and the interior minister about the conspiracy.
