Indus Water Commission leaves for India to discuss dams

LAHORE: The Indus Water Commission (IWC) Saturday went to India via Wahga Border to discuss construction of four controversial dams at River Chenaab, Geo News reported.

Talking to media men at Wahga Border, Commissioner IWC Mirza Asif said that India had built four dams without taking Pakistan into confidence, adding that the body would convey its reservations in this regard to Indian authorities.

He warned that in case Pakistan did not get a satisfactory reply, it would approach the international observers over the issue.
