Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad returns to Karachi
KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan arrived in Karachi Tuesday afternoon from Dubai, Geo News reported.
Upon his arrival, Governor Ebad did not speak to members of the media present at the airport.
It may be mentioned that Dr Ishratul Ebad had left for Dubai a week ago followed by the rumors of his resignation over concerns regarding the Army operation in Karachi. However, the governor’s spokesman had denied the rumors and termed them ‘baseless’.
Also, Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid had confirmed that Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad still holds his post, fully aware of the matters relating to Karachi operation and was on two weeks leave with the approval of the president.
