Nawaz says conveyed Pakistan’s concerns to Indian PM
LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Taliban disowned latest devastating blast in Peshawar that led to killing of over 40 people on Sunday.
Talking to media after arriving here, Sharif said that a strategy would be formed regarding Taliban after he returned to Pakistan.
He expressed concern that terrorism was being exported to other countries from Pakistani soil.
He said that he discussed various issues including Balochistan unrest and informed his Indian counterpart about Pakistan’s concerns.
The premier said that he urged Manmohan Singh to resolve all the issues between Pakistan and India through talks as peace was the only way forward for both the countries.
Nawaz Sharif said that he presented Pakistans’ principled viewpoint in the UN general assembly.
