Peace art gala held at Frontier Medical College, Abbottabad
ABBOTTABAD: Frontier Medical & Dental College recently held a ‘Peace Art Gala’. Like the name suggests, the theme of the event was ‘Peace, Love, and Harmony’. The aim was simple: break the stereotypes and lift the veil of terrorism that has been placed upon Pakistan.
The event started with a brief introduction of what peace is. Painting on a wall is not going to bring peace per se, but the idea was to inspire people and get their minds thinking in the right direction.
The event inspired people; students took to the stage and expressed their thoughts about peace in Pakistan and what needed to be done as a nation to get there. The speeches delivered on the occasion were truly heartfelt, with the audience hanging on each word.
The crowd grew enthralled and could not contain their enthusiasm.
The event was a success, as it achieved its goal of showing that the people of Pakistan were tired of what they had become, and that they wanted a change; they wanted the world to know that Pakistanis were not going to stay quiet and let the country fall. pr
