Army won’t spare any effort to help flood affectees: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif on Monday pledged that army will leave no stone unturned to help their brethren affected by the flood.

According to a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS visited the flood affected areas of Punjab in Gujranwala and Mandi Bahaduin districts.

The Army Chief directed the commanders to remain proactive, employ all available resources for the rescue and relief of the flood affectees.

The COAS was briefed by the local military commanders about the ongoing rescue and relief efforts by the Army.

The Army Chief greatly appreciated the tireless efforts of the field formations and Army Aviation, who are working round the clock and at full capacity to provide relief to the affected people.
