NewsKarachi operation not against any political party: Memon
KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon said on Friday that the ongoing operation in the city was not against any political party.
Speaking to media outside the provincial assembly, Memon said Rangers and police will take action were criminal elements are present. According to Memon the current situation in the city demanded that political parties show unity.
Sharjeel Memon said during the operation Lyari has been targeted the most but the PPP had no objections over this
The provincial information minister added the killers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid were arrested one year after the murder which clearly showed that the police were alert all the time to maintain law and order in Karachi.
