Phone, internet connections disrupted as fire engulfs Lahore PTCL building
LAHORE: Thousands of telephone lines and internet connections were disrupted after heavy fire erupted at the PTICL building on Sunday.
Fire Brigade sources said that the fire broke out around 2:00 AM which engulfed three floors.
Telephone exchange and other installations were affected by the blaze and according to a PTCL spokesman 45,000 telephone lines and almost 25,000 internet connections were disconnected due to the fire.
People in many areas were unable to reach emergency services through telephone and mobile phones.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
