Only 305 parliamentarians have submitted asset details: ECP
ISLAMABAD: With one day remaining in the deadline set by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), only 305 out of 1,174 parliamentarians have submitted their asset details.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and PPP leader Ameen Faheem are among prominent parliamentarians who have not submitted details of their assets.
Among the chief ministers, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak have not submitted their details.
The ECP in a notification had asked the nation’s lawmakers to submit their asset details by September 30.
