Economic corridor project to prosper entire region
Fatemi says Pak-China friendship based on trust
INPISLAMABAD - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi has said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a project of prosperity for the entire region.
In an interview with China's CCTV News channel in Beijing, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif developed national consensus before entering into agreement with China on the economic corridor.
He said friendship between Pakistan and China was based on trust, which has been testified by time. He said Pakistan trusted China and considered it as its close friend.
Fatemi said Pakistan has been suffering from terrorism for decades, and it rendered sacrifices more than any other country of the world.
