PTI to contest LG polls independently: Qureshi
INPISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Tuesday that the PTI would contest the local bodies’ elections independently and would not form an alliance with any political party.
In a statement, he said that the PTI as a political party which had secured 7.8 million votes in last general elections 2103 has strong vote base across Pakistan and the party's passionate workers would once again lead the movement for justice against the status quo parties.
“PTI ideology and vision for ‘Naya Pakistan’ distinguishes it from other and has enormous support amongst the masses,” he said.
