All muslim leagues announce they want a united PML

LAHORE: The leaders of various factions of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) have announced to eliminate all the factions and merge them into a single party, and said that establishment of the new party would be presented in the form of a resolution. This was announced by the leaders of various factions of PML including Sardar Zulifqar Khan Khosa, Chaudhry Shujjaat Hussain, Sardar Attique, Hamid Nasir Chatta, Dost Muhammad Khosa, Rashid Qureshi and Syed Ghous Ali Shah while talking to media after the joint meeting held at the residence of former Punjab governor Zulifqar Khan Khosa. The leaders of various factions said that the new party would be named as Pakistan Muslim League, which would truly represent the ideology and thoughts of Quaid-e-Azam. Chaudhry Shujjaat Hussain said that he had been striving to unite all the factions of Muslim leagues on one platform for the last nine months, which proved fruitful, adding that parliamentary and constitutional status of PML would be evolved after Eidul Azha. Responding to a question, he said that there was no Muslim league of the Sharif brothers, terming it as N-league only. He said that dictatorship-base political party cannot the run the democracy in the country, adding that only the party that is abiding and promoting the ideologies of Quaid-e-Azam, deserved to call itself PML.”
