Coward attacks can’t deter nationa’s resolve: Khurshid
MULTAN – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah and former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani visited Nishtar Hospital in Multan on Monday morning to inquire about health of Multan blast victims.
Talking to journalist, Khurshid stated that coward attacks cannot deter nation’s resolve in fight against terrorism. He asked the provincial government to ensure best medical facilities to the injured. At least 11 people died and more than 50 sustained injuries in a suicide blast at Vehari Chowk in Multan on Sunday night.
The explosion happened when a motorcycle hit a rickshaw at the busy bus stop, causing a large fire. Police believe one of the vehicles was carrying explosives but forensic teams are still investigating.
