Federal govt announces three-day Eid holidays
ISLAMABAD: The Federal government has announced three-day public holidays on account of Eidul Azha. The interior ministry has issued a notification in this regard.
As per the notification issued from the ministry here Tuesday, the Eid holidays will begin from Thursday 24 to Saturday September 26.
The moon for the month of Zilhaj has been sighted today (Tuesday) and Eidul Azha will be celebrated on September 25 (Friday).
Eidul Azha – a celebration of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi – is observed on the 10th day of Zilhaj which will fall on September 25, Friday.
