PM Sharif arrives in Peshawar to attend funeral of martyrs
PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Peshawar on Friday to attend the funeral prayers of those martyred in the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) camp in Badaber area.
The prime minister will also visit the soldiers and civilians wounded in the attack.
At least 20 people, including 16 worshipers offering Fajr prayers at a nearby mosque, were martyed when terrorists clad in Frontier Constabulary uniforms attacked the PAF camp.
The martyrs also included four members of the armed forces as they repulsed the attackers at the PAF residential compound in Badaber, 10 kilometres south of Peshawar.
