Murderers of Balochistan ex-minister sentenced to life imprisonment

KARACHI: A local court in Karachi on Saturday sentenced three convicts to life imprisonment in the murder of Balochistan’s former provincial minister Mir Rustam. The additional judicial magistrate-east announced the sentence. During the hearing, the court announced the life imprisonment sentence against the three convicts. Two of the accused in the case were acquitted over benefit of doubt. The convicted suspects Hayat Shah, Habibullah and Taj Muhammad along with their companions killed the former minister in Gulshan Iqbal area of Karachi on August 6, 2009.
