PIA maintains 96% punctuality rate on pre-Haj operations

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pre-Haj operation of transporting over 55,800 intending Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia concluded successfully on Saturday. According to Radio Pakistan, all PIA flights departed on time, maintaining an overall punctuality rate of over 96%. The airline operated 147 pre-Haj flights and carried over 43,000 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. PIA also carried more than 12,870 intending pilgrims through its regular scheduled flights to Saudi Arabia. The airline’s post-Haj operation of bringing back pilgrims from Saudi Arabia would commence from September 27 and conclude on October 28.
