PAF won’t hesitate to render any sacrifice for country: Air chief
PESHAWAR: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Monday said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will not hesitate to render any sacrifice to protect the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
He said this while visiting Badaber PAF airbase that came under attack by militants on Friday. At least 29 including Army Capt Isfandyar, PAF personnel and people offering prayers at a mosque were martyred in the deadly attack. All 13 attackers were killed by the security forces in retaliation.
The air chief said the ongoing operation against terrorists and extremists was a war to protect the future of the nation. “PAF will never let the sacrilegious intentions of the enemy to succeed,” he said.
Speaking to soldiers and officers, Air Chief Aman paid homage to the martyrs and also lauded the PAF soldiers for bravely combating the terrorists.
“PAF will not hesitate to render any sacrifice to protect the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan,” he said, adding that the force will also continue to play its role in failing the nefarious designs of the enemy.
