Govt focused on tackling security, power crises: PM
INPISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif co-chaired a meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain with the office bearers of the Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Sindh chapter here at the PM Office on Monday.
The Prime Minister said that the government was focused on tackling huge challenges like law and order, power outages and development of infrastructure “that are highly essential for economic growth, employment and prosperity”.
He said that Zarb-e-Azb military operation was a unanimously accepted political decision, and it had yielded positive results. He expressed the resolve to continue the operation till the elimination of extremism and terrorism from Pakistan.
The prime minister said that Karachi operation was only targeted towards terrorists. “People of Karachi are extremely happy and satisfied with the improving law and order situation of their city,” he added.
He advised the party workers to increase public contact and submit recommendations for further improving the living standards of the people of Sindh.
