Civil, military brass discuss Badaber attack
ISLAMABAD – A high-level security meeting – chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif – on Monday discussed security situation in the country, including security breach at Badaber, an airbase of the Pakistan Air Force.
The meeting reviewed evidences of the terrorists’ attack on Badaber airbase, which Islamabad intends to share with Kabul. It also discussed key security issues - including border management strategy - and implementation of the National Action Plan.
Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Major General Asim Bajwa among others attended the meeting.
